This may not be good hay weather, but the garden is loving it. Everything is blooming and I will probably start getting squash next week. Having trouble with bugs on my potatoes and since we have been having rain showers almost everyday I can't really treat them with anything, it just washes off. The pepper plants aren't liking the wet ground, but I keep pinching back the blooms and they seem to be coming out of it.
Here's the field we cleaned up the other day. Hard to believe 3 months ago this was a winter wonderland. 1 Acre down, 30 to go. If anyone has some extra sunshine send it my way.
The second pic is my kind of living! Not a neighbor in sight. Peaceful. Very picturesque. Ah, to lay down in the middle of that just baled field just staring at the sky and enjoying life. You do live the good life!

AJ-Oaks, If you like this view, you will love the big hay field. 30 acres of nothing but hay. Wait until you see some of the places Homer takes his tractor. Then you will see why I don't mow. I may be crazy, but I ain't that crazy. LOL

I absolutely love the second picture. It is painting perfect. I hope you get some sunshine soon. Your garden is looking great (and so weedless).

Teresa, Hopefully this weekend we will get to cut some more hay. I have been using my neighbors handy dandy mantis and love it. I run it through the garden once a week and it has really kept the weeds out.I will have one of my own, of course I keep his 90%of the time. I take better care of it than he does.LOL

We'll send the sun if you'll trade the rain. I think we are in a dry pocket here. I have been watering my garden.

4r ranch, We have been getting thunderstorms almost everynight, but it is hot and dry of the day. The humidity is awful. I wouldn't mind the rain if I could just get my hay up. If I could a would send you a week of it that way we could get done.
