As you know I help my friends, Stan and Janet with their greenhouse, StillMeadowsFarm. Well here is their son, Luke who thinks he runs the whole show. He's more of the "office type" then the get your hands dirty type. If you stop in, look behind the register and that's where you will find him. Me and this little man have taken a few rounds, especially when he drags his karaoke machine up to the shop. He will announce things like, clean up on isle 3 or kathy, your needed at the front register. All the while, I am running around waiting on customers. I finally told him I knew a good place for that karaoke machine, and he took it back to the house. (Think he got the hint,LOL) Every now and then he will get a wild hair and help me plant.I have been helping with spring planting for 3 years now, and he has tried to hand cuff me, crack the whip on me(literally he had a horse whip)and one day Stan and Janet were both gone and I had him and 2 of his friends there and they were plotting on how to lock me in the bathroom. All in all he's ok most of the time, and if he gets too pushy I just have to look at him and say, "Do I need to call your mother?" That's about all it takes. I have even had to threaten Stan a few times asking him, "Do I need to call the wife?" I guess we know who the real boss is.(LOL) Poor Stan thought he was getting help when I came to work for them, now he says all he got was "another" boss. All in all we are all pretty close, more like family than friends.
Here's a view of the shop, from this spring. It's one of those places you can walk through, then walk through again and still never see everything. We are getting high-tec and going on line with the primitives shop. Stop in and check us out.
Sounds like it's a great place to work--lots of fun and nice people. I'm not so sure about the locking in the bathroom part though!

Teresa & AJ, The little man is a handfull at times, but he knows the LOOK. He has pushed a few buttons but all in all he's not a bad kid. I always tease him about being my son and he does know if I have to call his mother it won't be good. We have had alot of good times at the greenhouse, seems like there is always something going on. I couldn't work for better people.

Janet, My goodness you must really have some big plans for me when I come over this week. HAHA Just kidding, I couldn't work for better people. Where else can you call into work and take off because your animals are sick and not get fired.
